War is Murder, Too

I just read this piece Brad Carson wrote for the New Republic about his failed senatorial campaign in Oklahoma (he was beaten by the wacko who said there were so many lesbians in Oklahoma schools, girls weren’t allowed to go to the bathroom in pairs), and it reminded me of a thought I had.
We really do have to fight fire with fire. And instead of turning up our noses at the anti-abortion forces and their large, gory pictures of fetal remains, we need to return in kind.
Our literature should be adorned with the color photos of the dead and maimed children of Iraq.
They can argue all they want about their higher purpose or strategic motives, but we need to respond with the same absolutist tone they use to denounce abortion: “War is murder, too.”
