Pool Party

I was at a lovely pool party out on the Main Line tonight. One of the hosts is a staffer for a House subcommittee having to do with the national parks, and he was sending his boss some info via Blackberry. “What, is there someplace you haven’t drilled for oil yet?” someone quipped.
We were swapping Beltway gossip - mostly who’s gay. (Hint: Ken Mehlman, Condi Rice.) He said there were really quite a few closeted Republicans - “There always were,” he said.
“Except now, they’re going to get outed,” I said. “People are too pissed off to look the other way anymore.”
no, they’re going to out themselves inorder to avoid military service.
