Pushing Back

It never occurred to me anyone would especially want my opinion on how to react to Karl Rove’s comments, but at least a few of you do, so here it is.
For what it’s worth, I’m always happy to see the extremists’ tactics used against them; it does my heart good to see Democrats fighting back.
Ultimately, does it accomplish anything? Sure. The end game is still the media. If we can keep the media as nervous and eager to please us as they are with their corporate masters, that’s a good thing.
On the other hand (that favorite Libran phrase), Rove should be treated as the complete whack job he is. Honestly, the only thing this reputed “genius” has going for him is that he is completely lacking in scruples.
There’s no limit to what you can do when you have no limits - you know, like honesty, decency and honor. Silly hindrances like that.
I think we should ridicule him on a regular basis. Make pointed references to his bloated, pasty self (you know, the way Rush makes fun of Teddy Kennedy?), drop broad hints about his sexual proclivities - you know, that sort of thing.
Because the real shocker is that anyone ever took these “moral leaders” seriously. Let’s keep pointing out the obvious contradictions between what they say and what they do - only louder, and with vicious glee.
