We gave up red meat years ago after the first articles started appearing about mad cow… Of course, the disease can live in your body for decades. My friend’s 75 year old dad died a few months ago here in NJ from Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, and he’d been a vegetarian for 20 years.
