The person who interviewed me didn’t think I was aggressive enough to sell furniture. At that point, I figured the job was lost, so I started talking politics.

I did that for part of a summer, then switched to ice cream, which was more profitable.

I lost a _tech service_ job once because I wasn’t “aggressive” enough.
I just wanted to solve the customers’ problems and go home with a clear conscience. Not sell ‘em parts and service contracts that they didn’t need.
Seems to me that the world has an overabundance of aggresssion as it is.
