I was going through my archives and found this:

Actually, the little man weaving straw into gold is Ed Gillespie, the RNC’s chinless wonder. (Is his and Charles Krauthammer’s rage due simply to the lack of a competent plastic surgeon? Hmm… must give this one some thought.)
Just saw him on CNN and man, he actually leaves a slime trail. He attacked Joe Wilson’s motives, calling him everything but a partisan hack. He also told the compliant and worshipful Judy Woodruff that Wilson retracted his statements about Rove being behind the leak. (Actually, Ed, he explained why he thought Rove was behind it but said there was no concrete proof. Please remember, though: Most murderers are convicted on circumstantial evidence.)
Little Judy actually screwed up her courage and said, “But Ed, you’re not saying the White House ascribes this whole thing to politics?”
Oh no, no, of course not, Ed said.
Oh! Well then, as always, a pleasure, Judy said as she curtseyed.
Being mean just to be mean is demeaning to yourself. You obviously don’t know Krathammer (who once was a talented physician) is physically disabled and has been a paraplegic due to an auto accident. If you already knew that, you should think about the mean-spirited comment you made and consider writing an apology.

Yes, I knew about Krauthammer. I don’t particularly care that he’s in a wheelchair; should I have lower standards for his work as a result? He’s a bitter, nasty, unethical man who twists and distorts the truth. I am paying him the compliment of expecting him to act like a human being, but he falls short every single time.
Now, if he said these things privately, fine. But he spews his poison everywhere and I won’t make excuses for him. He should know better.
