Mitt does the old bait-and-switch:
“Three years after expressing support for ‘the substance’ of Roe v. Wade,” Masschusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) “today criticizes the landmark ruling that legalized abortion and says the states should decide separately whether to allow it,” the Boston Globe reports.
Romney outlines his stance in an op-ed in today’s Globe.

It’s been known for a while that Mitt is suffering from a bad case of Potomac fever.
The best comment I’ve heard is that BOTH ends of the abortion spectrum do not cotton to people mincing words. They want absolutisms and the right end of the spectrum will not accept equivication.
Of course, he is the governor of the latte sipping, volvo driving, Harvard educated, wacko state that allows two people in love to marry without asking too much more.
Then again, he could try to argue that he really is from Utah!
