Oh, come on. Karl Rove is having an affair - with a woman? [Via Kos.]
In a fortuitious coincidence, Jerome and I have just finished interviewing a long-time Texas political writer here in Austin who says that Rove is absolutely having an affair with Karen. Rove is married and has a teenaged son. According to this writer, Rove’s wife is a hardcore liberal. “I don’t know how he and his wife get along,” he said.
Well, quite obviously, they do not.

Today, Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) proposed an amendment to the Defense authorization bill to provide political balance in talk radio programming on American Forces Radio (AFR). The amendment would require AFR to provide balanced political programming and establish an ombudsman position. Media Matters for America has focused on balance at AFR since we launched more than a year ago.
… remember that the AFR is the one who has Rush limp-blah… as part of their programming. Surely if the WH and congress are concerned about bias on taxpayer-funding progams like PBS they’re concerning about bias on the taxpayer funded AFR?
First of all, where would they find a woman with self-esteem that low.
