Maybe, Almost Absolutely Positive in a Tentative Way, the Last Time I Ask for Money
Jul 28th, 2005 at 12:37 pm by Susie
In that ADD way I have, I’ve been sort of ignoring some pertinent life logistics. But last night I finally sat down and added up the numbers: I don’t have enough money to 1) pay my rent 2) pay gas and tolls to get to my new job for the next two weeks or 3) buy groceries.
I even wrote about this before in a more theoretical way: That starting a new job after an extended period of unemployment places an enormous strain on severely limited resources (with costs like clothing, transportation, etc.). That it’s not just as simple as getting a job.
Now I’m reminded of just how right I was.
Now, you guys donated enough cash just the other day for me to go to the thrift store and get some clothes, so I’m good there. But my final check was so small, it just about covered my medical insurance co-pay.
I’m okay on utilities for now. They won’t be in shut-off status for another month, and by then I’ll have some money. But I’m $100 short on my rent (due in a week) and don’t have any way of putting gas in the car. (It’s a quarter-tank a day; it’s a long commute.)
So even though I’m rather humiliated and embarrassed to be doing this yet again, I’m asking for help. I know, I know - it’s got to be annoying. But I don’t have many resources just yet.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

It’s not wrong to ask for money in return for services. You render a valuable service to us all and the fact that you actually need the money is immaterial. Good luck with the job and I hope these tight times will soon be just a memory.
Don’t be embarrassed. I’ll pitch in a blogad - hope it helps.
Susie,
Send me your address and I’ll send a check. It would be money well spent.

Nobody gives a crap about your sad story. But the cunnilingus link below was more than worth the price. My contribution is on the way.
I love you, Jordan. ROFLMAO…
Have you got a paypal link? If so, help is on the way, otherwise send me your Philly address. Substantial help, I believe in sharing the wealth.
Melanie,
The PayPal link is to the right of these comments and below the Blogads.
It’s a small box that only says “PayPal Donate”.
At least I hope that is the correct link. It’s the one I used yesterday.
