Am I the only Democrat who wonders how these whores justify helping these people survive? Oh wait, let me guess - because then they’ll be grateful?
NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - News Corp., whose Fox News cable network is generally associated with conservative hosts and viewers, is turning to Democrats to battle a new television ratings system, according to a published report.
The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that News Corp. is hiring Democratic party insiders to court Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill to block a new local-TV ratings system that lowers ratings for many of its stations. [...]
The Journal reports that among those lobbying on behalf of News Corp. are Howard Wolfson, a spokesman for Sen. Hillary Clinton’s 2000 Senate campaign; Mike Feldman, a top adviser to Al Gore; Chris Lehane, a political strategist for former President Bill Clinton; and Minyon Moore, who helped found the liberal America Coming Together group that spent millions last year trying to defeat President Bush.

It may have to do with Penny Nance joining the FCC. She’s a strong supporter of ratings and family time on TV, and has spoken out against what is (in her opinion) sleazy programming on FoxNews.
These lone dems are indeed selling their soul for money and power, but if Hillary herself is directly or indirectly involved in helping FoxNews, all I can say is… it takes a lot of money to run for President. She still will hae plenty of time to bash them later
Maybe because they’re all whores. A waterboy is a waterboy, no matter whose water he’s carrying. I guess principles stop where the buck starts.
why in the world would you want Hillary Clinton to run for president? She is a neo-liberal hawk just like Kerry and yes even Bush. There main differences or social policy which in the end mean next to nothing when your county’s economy disintergrates and your military commits a war crime a day.
a neo-liberal hawk? michael–you just can’t do that to the english language. we did fine under the 1st clinton, and unless she plans on having affairs in the oval office as well i think she will do fine. is she ideal? no. will it be easy to get her in the oval office? no. but the other dems, the newer dems, are to me heavy on ideals and low on washington political realities. she’s got a lot of both.
