So a Bush appointee to the Dept. of the Interior appointee wanted to change the mission of the National Park Service, allowing much more access to all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles.
And there’s this:
The draft would also have added potential hurdles to the procedures for designating new parks. And in its discussion of park service system resources and educational programs, it would have eliminated virtually every reference to the theory of evolution.
That’s something in the old days they would have called “news.”
you know, saying you think different viewpoints should be taught is one thing; systematicly trying to remove science from the government is another. this isn’t just playing to your base… or maybe it is…. maybe this draft was leaked to keep the base happy.
it reeks of the chimp….
