Actually, it fit in perfectly with a speech that Sen. Brownback (R-Kansas) gave this morning on the Senate floor, in which he likened pro-choice people to Nazis and hinted darkly that abortion was a plot to revive eugenics under another name.
In 1964, Barry Goldwater famously wished that he could “saw off the Eastern Seaboard and let it float out to sea.” Between Delay, Frist, and Brownback, I’d almost agree with Barry just so we didn’t have to deal with these nuts anymore.
