Eclipse Time
Sep 29th, 2005 at 8:50 pm by Susie
I guess this is as good a time as any to remind you there’s an eclipse in Libra this Monday - 3:33 a.m. EDT, I believe.
Anyway, eclipses do tend to shake things the fuck up. Virtually every time I’ve been laid off or had some other major trauma, it was in close proximity to an eclipse. Since this particular eclipse is on the Libra-Aries axis, we can make a generalization that it will affect relationships (lots of people break up near an eclipse, but only if things weren’t really working anyway). Not mine, of course. But maybe yours.
Some astrologers describe eclipse effects as a door opening or closing; some call it a shift in time, something that accelerates change in an unexpected way. But of course, this will only apply to you, and not to me (even though the eclipse is conjunct my sun), because I don’t really believe in astrology. Except for other people.
I always say, “Work your eclipses or your eclipses will work you.” (I also say it about outer planet transits, but we won’t get into that now.) Anyway, expect many things to come to a dramatic head with lots o’fireworks. And rest assured that whatever awful, upsetting thing happens, it was all for the best. That’s what eclipses do: they remove the obstacles to your true self.
For other people, anyway.

What does this eclipse mean for Judy Miller, Tom DeLay, Bill Frist, Jack Abramoff, Karl Rove, and the Pretzeldent?
what lefty above said
Thanks for the advice. I’ll try to stay aware.
Let’s see here…
Aries: God of War…
Libra: The Scales of Balance
eclipse: [v] exceed in importance; outweigh; “This problem overshadows our lives right now” (from http://www.hyperdictionary.com )
I think we should all be a bit worried for Monday.

My sun’s in Aries, rising sign is Libra. Glad I’m doing a meditation/yoga/AA retreat this weekend.
The only thing I’m worried about for Monday is that the Packers need a win, BAD.
Susie, do Favre’s chart, and let me know (birthday 10/10/69).
Can’t do an accurate chart without exact time and place of birth.
So glad you don’t believe in astrology, Susie. It’s conjunct in with your sun, eh? If you’ve been wanting to make a change, that’s the day to initiate it.
Mars is going into retrograde on Sunday. Analysis here:
