So Condi’s answer to Cindy Sheehan’s question, “Why did we go to war?” is that it was a “bolder approach” than going after AQ.
So if AQ attacks us again, then maybe the Bushies will do something even bolder, say, invade China or Russia. Yeah, that’ll show ‘em.
Sorry for double commenting - I missed it in the first reading (everyone has this astonishing quote) but Condi tries to dismiss AQ as a “proximate” cause, i.e. nearby or close by.
