I certainly hope that if there is going to be an indictment that says something happened, that it is an indictment on a crime and not some perjury technicality where they couldn’t indict on the crime so they go to something just to show that their two years of investigation were not a waste of time and dollars.

For once, Russert actually followed up with the obvious fact that “perjury, or obstruction of justice, is a very serious crime, and Republicans certainly thought so when charges were placed against Bill Clinton…”
But then he does the usual: he lets her get away with saying that “there were charges against Bill Clinton besides perjury and obstrution of justice…” which, of course, is blatanly false.
it’s fun to watch KBH try to spin every question. you can see it in her face that she’s thinking furiously, pausing, looking off into space, trying to come up with a positive spin, or a way to blame everything on democrats. it’s getting harder and harder to spin in the bush administration’s favor, and it’s starting to show on the spinners’ faces.
