Dear God. Now the madness has spread to Pennsylvania.
What next? Build-your-own roads? Oh, I forgot - they’re already proposing that.

aw fuck, how did that happen? i was just reading last week what a been a total disaster it’s been in colorado.
eh well, who needs public education anyway? it is very helpful for the ruling class if the the serfs are ignorant. long live the king.
Yeah, but what happens when the king is ignorant?
Colorado’s TABOR caps this year’s spending based on last year’s spending adjusted for popluation growth and inflation.
So, when state revenues decrease in a recession, spending goes down and next year’s cap is lowered even though the recession is over and revenues recover. Big gotcha.
It’s a hard sell to suspend TABOR because revenue in excess of the spending cap is refunded to the tax payors. Many need the money, and don’t connect the refund to lost state services.
