Excedrin Headache No. 1

Today I had my first tension headache in years. Work as usual was a juggling act and today one of the balls dropped. (Oh well.) But we fixed it and moved on.
I really do love this job. Have I mentioned that? I’m sorry I can’t give more details but so much of what we do is confidential - which you’d expect of a political consulting firm.
My boss told me he wants to move me into a different, more strategic job as soon as he can, since organization is “not your forte,” he said, grinning. (Who, me?)
I get to write, I get to do research and no one cares that I blog.
Heaven, I’m in heaven….

awesome. it’s great when a job is intellectually challenging.
It’s also great that your boss is enlightened enough to overlook your deficiencies and channel you into a role that capitalizes on your talents.
I guess you’ve had problems with the fact that you blog before? I recall a case where a woman was fired for blogging because she said not-so-nice things about management.
