This morning I went to put on a skirt I’d last worn in August and I couldn’t wear it. I mean, it was literally falling down. Instead, I’m wearing a skirt I wasn’t able to fit into in a long time.
Apparently I’m shrinking. Not anywhere near where I want to be, but definitely getting there. Cool!

It’s amazing how going back to work helps. After less than 2 months on the job, I actually need my belt to keep my pants up, and not just for decoration!
Great feeling, huh? Happened to me too. All those clothes in the closet I hadn’t worn in few years fit again. It was like I’d been on a shopping spree and got a bunch of new shirts and pants — reverse deja vu — they all seemed new to me. I kept the original belt, though. It was fun to mark the progress every time I had to punch a new hole in it. Keep up the Incredible Shrinking Woman act!
Good on you!
I lost a bunch of weight last year, but unfortunately, just before that started, I gave away many of my best shirts because I thought I’d never again be able to fit into them. Now I bet I’d be close, and that a few more pounds would do it.
Can we expect to hear about Susie’s alterations fund drive in the future?
Nah, I know how to sew.
good for you! : )
