Let’s All Just Curl Up in the Fetal Position

I mean, if Karl thinks we’re doing the wrong thing, I know he just wants to help! Terra terra terra, all the time:
WASHINGTON - Embattled White House adviser Karl Rove vowed Friday to make the war on terrorism a central campaign issue in November.
He also said Democratic senators looked “mean-spirited and small-minded” in questioning Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito.
“Republicans have a post-9/11 view of the world. And Democrats have a pre-9/11 view of the world,” Rove told Republican activists. “That doesn’t make them unpatriotic, not at all. But it does make them wrong — deeply and profoundly and consistently wrong.”
Yep, that’s just what we need. Advice from someone who’s betrayed his country by outing a CIA agent. What a role model!

Fear

Attack the Queer (unless he’s in the closet and GOP)
Of COURSE they’re going to make “Terrorism” their central campaign issue. What *ELSE* do they have to run on? Seriously!
And of course, this is a tacit admission that any time they bump the terror level or push an issue (i.e. scare tactic) of terrorism, they’re really just campaigning. Wag the dog and all that.
Not to change the subject but since you mention Alito, I’ve been wondering, will Republicans for Choice ever stop “officially withholding final judgement…regarding the nomination of Judge Samuel Alito”?

And then the other day I noticed a weird coincidence: until sometime last year, Republicans for Choice offices were located two floors down from Creative Response Concepts, at 2760 Eisenhower Ave, Suite, Alexandria, VA 22314. CRC managed at least a part of the PR campaign for Alito, didn’t they? They seem to get involved with a lot of important issues.
I wonder if anyone could get RFC Chairwoman Ann E. W. Stone to put her current views about Snappy Sam on the record?
Was she really once married to that Roger Stone? The same Roger J Stone, Jr. that works with that Arlen Specter guy? Huh. I see that Ann says that Arlen is friends with the RFC-bees, so I betcha they return each others calls. Who knows?
Gee, it’s something how intertwined and coincidental things can appear sometimes.
Going way back, aren’t R Stone and Rove kind of buddies, too? And didn’t they allegedly work together on that “CBS/Bush Guard Service” news story?
Yes, so I didn’t mean to change the subject but then, did I? I must be dreaming.
I think the Dems should use terror as a campaign issue as well. I, for one, am terrified of Bush&co.
