Republicans said that making an issue of Judge Alito’s rulings would redound to their benefit, asserting that his legal views were more in line with the American electorate than those of his liberal critics.
“I’ll just tell you right now we welcome that debate on our side,” Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina, told the Democrats. “We’ll clean your clock.”
Oh, really, Lindsey? I suppose that’s why your folks always go to so much trouble to hide those views until after they’re in office?
Sister Lindsey’s “clock” will be cleaned one day, and I sincerely hope the pretty sister’s face doesn’t crack too badly when it does.
Looks like we struck a nerve, Lindsey’s self-rightious indignation has propelled him back into the “Freedom Fries” mode.
Please senator, give us a break, your ilk was stringing up papists along with everthing else not that long ago.
Lots of times you hear from the wingers how we hate Bush, but to me the one’s that really grate me are Graham and Hatch.
I would not be able to sit still in the same room with those two arrogant assholes. They epitomize today’s republican party - the kids no one could stand in junior high.
