REMEMBER: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE FROM A SENATOR’S STATE TO CALL!
Republican Linc Chaffee (RI) to vote against Alito. Thank him for changing his mind (even though we know he’s just trying to have it both ways, but you catch more flies with honey) and ask him to go all the way and support the filibuster:
141A Russell Senate Office Building, Washington, DC
(202) 224-2921
Chief of Staff.–David A. Griswold. FAX: (202) 228-2853
Appointments Secretary.–Betty Dudik.
Press Secretary.–Stephen Hourahan.
320 Thames Street, Newport, RI 02840……… (401) 845-0700
170 Westminster Street, Providence, RI 02903.. (401) 453-5294
Same thing for Independent Sen. Jim Jeffords - he says he’ll vote no on Alito but not the filibuster. Ask him to change his mind:
Jeffords, James M.- (I - VT) Class I
413 DIRKSEN SENATE OFFICE BUILDING WASHINGTON DC 20510
(202) 224-5141

Olympia Snowe, according to Maine’s rightwing freeper site, is now the only undecided Republican.
