Why do they keep calling this a civil war?
(CBS/AP) Police and soldiers responding to a report of killings Sunday found 30 bodies, most beheaded, near a village north of Baghdad, in one of the bloodiest episodes in a cycle of apparent sectarian killings terrorizing Iraq, police reported.
Imagine this:
Police and soldiers responding to a report of killings Sunday found 30 bodies, most beheaded, near a development north of Arlington, in one of the bloodiest episodes in a cycle of apparent sectarian killings terrorizing Virginia, police reported.
See the difference? If they’re not wearing uniforms, and they don’t do re-enactments on the weekend, it’s not a civil war!

Well, it isn’t a civil war.
It’s a mutually-applied progrom, sadly.
“Sectarian Violence”
Good euphamism.
How about “They’re slaughtering themselves over there and our soldiers are caught in the crossfire”
Oh - I forgot: Good news only, good news only (repeat until you barf)
