4 Days Left

Until I leave the Hellmouth. I can’t wait.
I saw Brendan last night and he’s excited that my new landlady is a fiddle player. There’s a coffeehouse (with tea! and wifi!) a few doors down, too.
My best friend’s excited that there’s a historical site right down the street - and me? I’m just happy I won’t be living in the middle of strip malls, chain restaurants and cookie-cutter housing developments anymore.
And you know, it’s not as if I actively scorn any of those things. It’s just that they show such a singular failure of imagination, given the options.
I’m not what you’d call A Consumer. I like my stuff, but I will never be one of those people whose idea of a good time is to go to the mall every time I get a spare moment.

Cool!
You’re not too far from where we live (just over the border in Springfield Township).
Oh good, invite me to dinner!
We could most definitely do that.

So you’re not suburban anymore.
Congrats!
But what will you call the blog now — Urban Guerilla? Or “The Blog Formerly Known As Suburban Guerrilla”?
To answer my own question –
how about Germantown Guerrilla.
Or Guerrmantown Guerrilla.
Yeah, I know, you have a brand and can’t change it.
Dude, Suburban Guerrilla is a state of mind. There are no artificial boundaries.
My late friend Filly used to live across the street from Cliveden. If her spirit’s still in the area, I hope she watches over you…
