Did you know we’re charging troops in Iraq for internet service and haircuts? Neither did I.

When I was in the Army 30 years
ago, we _always_ had to pay for
our haircuts — even that first
naked-egg job in basic, which
cost, as I remember something
less that $3.

When my son was in Baghdad, he did not have to pay for internet, but, when he was on the way home and waiting to catch a flight in Kuwait, he did.
