While walking to work from the train this morning, I see a stocky, nicely-dressed man who raises one hand as if waving hello, and uses his other hand to slap his armpit with a rolled-up newspaper. He continues this for half a block, alternating arms.
God, I love downtown.

Ooh, fun!
I had my first weirdo train ride a couple weeks back - guy two seats behind me rocking back and forth and reaching as far in front of him as he can (thank god I sat 2 seats ahead!) making loud Beaker-like incoherent squeaky noises all the way from 15th & Locust to Haddonfield. The best part was watching the reflection in a window of the mother sitting behind him with her 2 childen tried to keep her children from staring or asking questions. Still, it was pretty tame compared to your average NY subway ride.
Re the armpit slapper: Probably just trying to cope with a new brand of aftershave.
speed reading.
I remove lice the same way. Only I prefer icepicks.
Drying the deodorant.
