Wired has a good story on Al Gore’s life after politics. And by the way, I’ll be at a private screening of An Inconvenient Truth this week - and I get to meet Al. Aren’t you jealous?

Wicked jealous. You get to meet the President.
Incredibly jealous.
Tell him he MUST run!!!
Susie…Break rule #2 if you have to…
Incredibly jealous. If you get a chance, ask President Gore to invite me to the next DC screening. Tell him I’ll blog about it….
Unbelievably jealous. This guy has been spit on by the worst of America, and he is still out there trying to save her.
As we say in Maine, wicked jealous (though I have met him before… Just not the new improved Al Gore v. 4.0)
BTW, I guess this would be the time to push our brand-spanking new “Draft Gore” endeavor (as of last Sunday, now we have time and energy with the Koufaxes done with and all), at http://draftgore2008.org. Dwight’s getting the PAC details set as I type, and we’re taking it on the road next month.
And yes, tell him to run. Run, Al, run! And have fun.
Well, of course I’m going to tell him to run!
He can totally save the Internet, too! Al’s my man if he runs.
please send him my apologies for what could be the biggest mistake I’ve ever/will ever make - voting for Ralph Nader in Florida in 2000. I was so sure Al Gore was going to win and I really like Ralph Nader….if I had only known. And I voted in Miami-Dade county. Ugh.
