On Friday, May 13, World Can’t Wait - Drive Out the Bush Regime is holding counter protests against theocracy in response to Battle Cry, a theocratic movement focusing on indoctrinating and mobilizing youth, who are holding rallies at City Halls across the country. Over the weekend, Battle Cry is holding a stadium concert/indoctrination event at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. World Can’t Wait will be there to protest, calling on the young attendees to seek the truth and to critically think.
Battle Cry’s leader, Ron Luce, a Bush appointee, says, “This is war. And Jesus invites us to get into the action, telling us that the violent — the ‘forceful’ ones — will lay hold of the kingdom.†Battle Cry Partners include Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell.
