Yeah, this is pretty much my take on Obama, too. All hat, no cattle. Great speaker, doesn’t do much.

I think the Democrats’ motto should be, “What would Wellstone do?”
Make it “W.W.W.D?” and it would fit nicely on those key lanyards that all the kids are wearing.

What’s the deal with all the Obama hating on the internets? Don’t you think it’s a little early to be passing judgement on the guy, he is only in his second year in the Senate?

Susie likes to play the intellectual contrarian. If Obama’s popular with the unwashed masses it wouldn’t be COOL to praise him, ya know?

Really? Considering that I AM one of the unwashed masses, what does that say? I have no investment in Obama one way or another. Read his book - great. Heard him speak - also great. Looked at his voting record and lack of courageous stands - I’ll take a pass, thank you. I’d say it’s more than a little premature for him to be exploring a presidential run.

Not saying I want him as president, I just don’t think everyone should be expecting the world from him, he hasn’t even been in the senate for two years yet.
