We’ll be driving up to the Bay Area tonight and we’re going to try to hit at least one Drinking Liberally this week. Anyone have any recommendations?

One popular option (popular with SF Kossacks) is Gordon Biersch Brewery/Restaurant on The Embarcadero.

One more recommendation: bring a sweater or a jacket. The fog has rolled into the city making it kinda chilly.

Not entiely clear if you are looking specifically for DL in SF. You’d be very welcome at San Diego’s DL meeing at Nunu’s Tues. Who knows? Your presence might even lure the elusive TBogg into the spotlight. (Specific location can easily be found at DL website)

ooh i love that drive. hope you can take the scenic route! at least make sure you drive up the coast from santa cruz to sf.

watch out for the drive from Santa Cruz to SF along the coast. Hwy 1 is closed at Devils Slide (between Half Moon Bay and Pacifica) — instead of a nice drive you have a long detour. Drive through Silicon Valley and take the 280 freeway into SF.

Oakland’s chapter of Drinking Liberally will take place on Wednesday at Luka’s Taproom & Lounge…I don’t remember where the SF chapter holds theirs right now …

well that used to be a great drive - i used to do it all the time when i lived out there way back when. but what the hell do i know? i’m in philly now.
