It’s amazing that someone so unintelligent, ignorant,
and mean-spiritied could be elected to high public office.

This country really ought to split into two parts,
so that these idiots could fend for themselves and
bear the full consequences of their lies and
misguided actions.

Susie, I think we need to urge bloggers, et al, to remind everyone that Inhofe is the Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works committee, _the_ committee which oversees legislation covering global warming. As long as he is chair, there will never, ever be legislation in the Senate addressing the problem. We cannot remove him through an election this fall (he is up in 2008) but we can make Reid Senate Majority Leader, and remove Inhofe from his position of massive power. But we need to tell people left and right, up and down, that HE is the one with his hand on any and all legislation. With the exception of Bush, he is the singlemost powerful man, essentially on the planet, when it comes to addressing global warming - and he’s a fruitcake.

This is the only reason I’ve changed my mind and would vote for Casey if I still lived in Pennsylvania.
