Beware of “reasonable” men, people like Frank Gaffney who was a featured guest on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal this morning. One of the PNAC founders, the man is completely unflappable in that way insane ideologues have. (One caller demanded to know about his military service, and he responded by saying he’d served “on Capitol Hill.”) He’s spent his entire adult life collecting paychecks connected to the perpetration of the military-industrial complex, and he’s never seen a war he didn’t like.
Because to a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
If I knew how to link, I would link to Gaffney’s repackaged PNAC “think tank” - Center for Security Policy.
Unfortunately, none of the CSPAN callers inquired about the members of CFSP, and how it is another NeoCON faux group, just out there to get media exposure in order to make it seem to the average Sheepole, “oh look! ANOTHER think tank is telling us how bad those Islamofascist Boogiemen are!”
I am disappointed in CSPAN’s inability to balance their PNACer/Non-PNACer coverage.
