COLUMBIA, S.C. - Ex-U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Wednesday that the thought of California Rep. Nancy Pelosi becoming the next leader of the House and being third in line to the presidency is frightening.
“The prospect of her bringing San Francisco values and a whole attitude on foreign policy that is, I think, an attitude of weakness and appeasement and surrender, I think, would be a disaster for the country,” the outspoken Republican said.
Hey, Newtie! The lady’s from Baltimore, where she learned her trade from her father, Mayor Tommy D’Alesandro.
You, sir, are not even in her league, let alone in the House of Representatives.
Just stay in Georgia, dimwit.
In other words, according to Republicans, those Negroes are not part of America, and neither is San Francisco.

What’s next? They discarded New Orleans last year. Can New York, LA, Chicago, Philadelphia and Baltimore be far behind?

Neocon wannabe and pretend presidential candidate Newt Gingrich has been a big booster of Bush’s failed presidency. Recently, he said we should attack Iran. He also said one of the reasons we have to attack Iran is that North Korea might give Iran nuclear weapons (he has no proof whatsoever but that doesn’t stop Newt). He’s also been blathering about the need to recognize we’re in world war three. He talks exactly like the old John Birchers who wanted to nuke the Soviet Union in the late fifties.
Since Newt lives in a looking glass universe where up is down and war is good and peace is threatening, then that must mean his judgment doesn’t amount to much.
The current Speaker of the House, Hastert, has not lifted a finger to hold Bush accountable or stop the rampant Republican corruption in Congress. The guy who replaced Tom DeLay shows no signs of being an improvement. If the Democrats win, no wonder people like Gingrich are nervous. He created the current Republican machine and it’s not a pretty sight.
