Filibuster Time

It saddens me when people are so blind to the concept that these people work for us. (Okay, a lot of them think they work for big corporations, but they can’t get into a position to do them favors unless we put them there first.)
It’s up to We, the People.
So you need to go here and get the information necessary to tell your employees that you want them to filibuster the torture bill.
Torture doesn’t work.
Torture is unAmerican.
Torture puts U.S. citizens at risk.
Torture fuels extremism.
Torture is immoral.
I saw that blonde dipshit Laura Ingraham on TV the other night, saying the American people already voted on torture by making “24″ such a popular TV show.
Jesus wept. Is this what passes for civic discourse these days?
This is America. We’re supposed to be the good guys. George W. Bush and his band of merry men have turned us into a nation of thugs.

In Jersey, Lautenberg’s not planning to filibuster yet, tho the aide says they’re paying attention to the volume of calls. Menendez has delightful hold music, but he’s not planning to either. Fuck! Are we really just going to roll over and take this?
There won’t be a buster because the dems sold out that right:
