Representatives, Christopher Rants, …”
My, what an appropriately-named fellow.
To my mind, the article is largely about the
corrupting effect of national partisan money
on presidential primaries. It looks like
out-of-state Republican presidential hopefuls
are buying local delegate votes by contributing
big bucks.
I used to vote straight ticket, but then really decent Progressives started to run for local offices on the Green ticket, so I started to split my ballot.
I just picked up my absentee ballot from the post office and it seems I’ll be voting for a Republican for the first time ev-ah. There’s just no way in hell I’m voting for my former opponent, and I think most D’s in the state House would agree (from what my spies tell me.)
