You never know what I will do when it's all said and done. For now I don't want to say anything to sway the voting.

BTW, The only stats I list are those old school stats, but I list them AFTER the voting is complete. I could list OBP, VORP, ERA+, EqA, and all the others, but what would be the point? I use a baseballreference.com link for each player while they are up for voting so it's up to the reader to decide what matters. Anyway, it's just for fun (there really isn't a "Baseball Fan's" Hall of Fame.)

Iz - I suspect that we'll see a lot of lack of historical reference in the votes - we've seen some of that in the real-life HOF as well. Maybe the Veterans Committee of this web site can bring Alexander back around for a vote...

This place may wind up with less credibility than
the Cooperstown HOF -- they've already rejected one
of the all-time elite pitchers, Pete Alexander.
Maybe they thought he was Doyle Alexander?

Also, the stats that they list are cro-magnon in
their relationship to player value.
Hey, we're in the 21st century, guys, and there are
now far more sophisticated analytical stats available.
