Bill Allison is trying to determine whether any of the federal contracts that ProLogic Inc., has won–from the Departments of Energy, Defense and Veterans Affairs as well as NASA and the General Services Administration, were the subject of specific lobbying actions by PMA Group. ProLogic is the example in determining just how much benefit a company gets from using a lobbyist to procure a contract, as opposed to the supposed competitive process we are all told it is. It’s going to take a while, but it will be interesting to see what Allison comes up with.
