I'm a die-hard skeptic. But let me say this: I'd certainly tolerate it better if the astrological stuff was couched in terms of actually looking at the planets in the sky, rather than some some paper-and-pencil (well, PC) exercise. Just a week or two ago, Mercury was easily visible in the clear evening sky, as was an absolutely brilliant Venus. That's the kind of natural beauty that both astrologers and skeptics can appreciate. Okay, I confess. I’m a die-hard skeptic.

But let me say this: I’d certainly tolerate it better if the astrological stuff was couched in terms of actually looking at the planets in the sky, rather than some some paper-and-pencil (well, PC) exercise.

Just a week or two ago, Mercury was easily visible in the clear evening sky, as was an absolutely brilliant Venus.

That’s the kind of natural beauty that both astrologers and skeptics can appreciate.

I said to him, "this has to be a mercury retrograde; there is no other logical reason." Of course, he's from that old Great era so his response is mute. It all started Feb. 9, so I checked the chart today; sure enough, mercury retrograde Feb. 13-Mar. 7, plus or minus 4-5 days on each side.
