Harbinger of Spring

I saw some white crocuses this weekend, but the weather’s so crazy now, you never know when flowers will bloom. So no, that didn’t make me feel like spring was on the way.
It was when I grabbed a light jacket this morning (it’s going up to 74) and inside the front pocket was a ticket from the Phillies-Marlins game I went to in September (Ryan Howard’s last home run of the season) and a rolled-up hot dog wrapper.
I opened it up and inhaled. It still smelled like the ballpark. Ah, spring…
