I just can’t bring myself to go on at length about our current constitutional crisis - in this case, the extensive proof that BushCo was stacking the deck with political U.S. attorneys. That the current White House occupant does not and probably never has put the good of this country first.
You knew that, right? Did I really have to spell that out for you?
And if you didn’t know it, nothing I write would have persuaded you otherwise. Right?
Sometimes I suspect that the ritual of parsing out what they’re up to only contributes to a sense of national helplessness, a throwing up of hands while saying, “Oh my God, they’re evil, they’ll do anything, there’s nothing we can do to stop them”.
That’s not true. We made a really good start in November. Stay on your congress critter’s case, and stay tuned.
