For reference, the US Chamber of Commerce spent $39.8 million in 2005.

Which is why when they came calling to this small business owner asking me to join- I sent them packing. I told the rep that I felt they were an arm of the Republican party, and would do nothing for me. She actually agreed with me- I don’t think her heart was really in her job.

Wow that is almost as much as Corzine spent to buy a seat in the United States Senate. And just a bit more than George Soros spends in a presidential election year.

Guess I was not sarcastic enough for you. The perspective is that your original post is much ado about nothing (except when you see a pro-business group and think it is an evil bogeyman).

FYI Einstein- both sides have way too much money - start actually reading the news AND trying to figure who/ what provided the “news tip” or P.R. to the reporter so he could cut and paste a story.

No, you were plenty sarcastic for me. Your second comment post was even more sarcastic and yet even less informative. Amazing how you can do that.

It is telling how you equate all the money from a pro-business group as “much ado about nothing” and in the next breath complain that “both sides have too much money.” Whatever works for you.
