This Website is a Bomb

For a non-Suburban Guerrilla edition of my favorite internet saga, WordPress Kills Web Servers Dead, have a look at what’s happening to one of my personal favorite websites Sadly, No. About once a day you can see a text only version of the site and the rest of the day you get nothing. Oh thank heaven for dynamically served content.
Meanwhile, I hope all of you are enjoying the server misconfiguration errors this site is producing. At some point it’s really going to be more convenient to have Susie just call all of you individually on the telephone so she can give you her take on the day’s events.
Update: I know reading this shit is almost as exciting as watching your shoes dry on the sidewalk, so thanks for indulging me. Anyway, the problem has been fixed and everything is working nicely. For those of you who know something about server load averages, the latest scores were 0.13, 0.24, 0.29. Yesterday and earlier today they were running consistently over 200, often peaking and close to 400, so I was seeing scores like 295.34, 381.01, 392.21. The best part of all of this is that you don’t have to see another one of these lousy server problem posts for a while.
