Rarely do I agree with Keith Olbermann but in this case he is right on in his analysis. Which helps to explain why in recent polls the congress has had an approval rating similar to Bush’s.

Really if you look at the Democrats have passed little if any legislation on the issues they talked about during the election. Overall Bush has been able to continue on his course. Now some of the problem is the Senate and how easy it is for a minority control be debate through use of the filibusterer. But at the same time it just seems that the Democrats have not be able to communicate their message effectively enough to counter the White House. Which is puzzling to me.

Susie, I am losing faith with the Dems. As a Vietnam vet it is painful to the plight of our troops as well as the destruction of everything for the Iraqis.
I can see only Gravel as one who could bring sanity to our crazy world. I do hope you will give some time to the Gravel campaign to give him more exposure.
The current politicians are too beholden to the special interests. We are in need of a complete overhaul.
