Good morning, Susie - sorry to hijack this response portion to your current blog entry - but I didn’t see a way to email you privately.

I am a moderator for a support group for people in (or recovering from) relationships with personality disordered individuals. The essay you wrote (12/5/05) “To Sir With Love” would be a wonderful example for us to use in our “Taking Personal Inventory”
section - teaching folks to look at their own issues, and take steps toward accepting responsibility for their own “stuff” instead of staying stuck; blaming their mentally ill partner (or relative as the case may be)for everything that goes wrong in life… Honestly, your words resonated with our staff very much, and we would love (with your permission and full credit of course) to reprint it on our site as a teaching tool (and as a discussion starter on our message board).
