SG Gets An Award!

No, really. Go read.
The rules of the award are pretty simple:
1. If, and only if you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme.
3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote.
So now I have to pick five blogs that make me think.
That’s a really long list, and I only get to pick five. So here they are, in no particular order - with the caveat that there are many more:
1. Pacific Views. Actual peacemongers - go figure!
2. Slacktivist. Fred is so wise and so insightful. Reading his stuff makes me glow inside.
3. Redsoxville. Some of you will remember Dr. S. from his time here while I was away. He’s so insightful about media, he always makes me slap my head and say, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
4. The Next Hurrah. Marcy makes me think so hard, my head hurts.
5. Wampum. You know, you’d think progressives would pay more attention to the indigenous folks we continue to fuck over - but hey, that’s just me.
Honorable Mention to Eschaton, who’s already had all the attention in the world and mine won’t make a lick of difference. But let me just say (in case you haven’t noticed) that Duncan is one of the smartest people I know, especially when it comes to analyzing media and how it’s used in politics.
