Proscrastination

I have to pack to go to D.C. tomorrow, and I’m putting it off. I hate traveling (unless it’s by car). In this case, I’m taking the train. That means I have to haul my heavy laptop and a suitcase. Because I’ll be gone overnight, I have to take all that crap - allergy stuff, toothbrush, contact lens fluid, etc. - you ordinarily keep in your bathroom. Oh, and business cards. Right.
Because it’s almost 100 degrees in D.C., I’ll have to bring something appropriate to change into later for the debate. Really, if I wasn’t looking for work, I wouldn’t care what I wore - but you never know who you might bump into.
The debate is live, which means I won’t get back to my friend’s apartment until midnight or so. And then I have to get up early the next day to catch a train home.
Have I mentioned I hate traveling? I think I’ll go take a nap.
