Priscilla Colin-Scott won some contest and got to ask Hillary the first question:
Is race still the most intractable issue in America, especially in light of today’s Supreme Court decision?
Hillary is practically yelling into the mike. What’s up with that? She says we have a long way to go, etc.
Now Biden’s yelling into the mike, too. ??? He says he was criticized for being too tough on Roberts and Alito. I turn to blogger next to me (a law professor) and say, “I don’t remember him being all that tough on Roberts and Alito.” She said no, he was pretty tough on him.
John Edwards is talking like a normal person, thank God. Two Americas, two school systems - “one for the rich, one for the poor.” (”Which one do you send your kids to?” the RWer next to me snarks. “They homeschool,” another blogger responds.) He also says he’ll make sure every person’s vote is counted. Amen.
