Rick Perry commuted Kenneth Foster’s sentence. Great news! He was about to be executed for the crime his friend committed.

Very surprising given the way things usually operate in Texas. Maybe there is a chance things are changing for the better. Now if we could just have a serious review of the death penalty and hopefully get rid of it once and for all.
