i don’t know all that much about him except that he’s not a loyal bushie.
frankly, whoever bush nominates will be bad. but there’s bad and there’s insanely bad. this guy will probably just be bad. at this point, i’d be happy to settle with that rather than another gonzo or ashcroft.
I think his nomination hearing slogan is “I don’t suck as much as the other possibilities”.
For a Bush nominee that amounts to clear cut superiority (in a very relativistic sort of manner).
