my friend in boston just sent me an article about Bush’s efforts to stop the Armenian Genocide Bill from passing through congress. He was already angry about that on its face: when i explained that this is all about keeping turkey on board, he got angrier.
but that’s how shallow this whole thing is: Bush is literally holding the whole show together with duct-tape and chewing gum. “Fer the love o’ God, don’t piss of the fucking Turks!”
