Oh, swell. I just heard that freshman Rep. Chris Carney (D-PA) - you know, the one I raised money for - is talking about voting for the Peru NAFTA extension.
Oddly enough, he ran on a fair trade and anti-NAFTA position.

Carney has been busily reinventing himself as a DINO.
And perhaps, in his district, that’s what he has to do to have any hope of surviving the next election, since it’s unlikely that he’ll be fortunate enough to have a mistress-choking philanderer as an opponent again.
But still, I don’t think he’s really improving his chances that much, and he’s just ticking off people who actually supported him.
Maybe he needs a primary challenger.
